Having too much of a stress becomes unhealthy for our body, mind, and spirit. Our nervous system struggles and goes into overdrive. You can shield yourself from anxiety and relieve the symptoms of stress simply by adjusting your breathing patterns. When you rediscover your natural rhythm of breath, your brain feels at ease, calms down, and relaxes. Breathwork is of the best holistic tools to reduce stress and move through mental & physical blocks.

What does a Breathwork Circle look like?
You will be guided into a higher state of consciousness using Breathwork. Any trapped emotions or traumas will rise to the surface, to be expressed or cleared away from the body; leaving you feeling empowered, alive, and cleared from stored up emotional and mental patterns. Imagine, that a simple tool, such as a guided Breathwork can transform insecurity, feelings and thoughts of unworthiness, into security, and self-confidence within! This practice can help you to move beyond fear, contraction, shame, and spontaneously become joyous about your life!
Your Facilitator - Alexis Alcalá
Alexis is a holistic coach and facilitator of transformation processes, and is also certified as a facilitator of Healing Breathwork, social meditations, and Reiki. He has worked in people management and as a mentor in Europe, Asia and Africa and has experience helping to promote people and companies of different sizes. On his journey, Alexis discovered that the body, mind and spirit are a beautiful interconnected network, which can heal itself in the right conditions. He works intuitively and uses his experience in transformation processes to create a safe space for healing and transformation. Alexis has been facilitating breathwork for over six years in Europe and Asia, has run more than 100 retreats and has participated in several hundreds of onsite and online events. He has been certified in three different breathwork schools.

Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with epilepsy, detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases (including prior heart attack), mental disorders (manic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization, etc.), strokes, TIA´s, seizures or other brain/neurological conditions, a history of aneurysms in the immediate family, use of prescription blood thinners, hospitalized for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the past 10 years, osteoporosis or physical injuries that are not fully healed, acute somatic and viral diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD-II and COPD-III), chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation or terminal illness, individual intolerance of oxygen insufficiency, cancer and Low Impulse Control.
Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician and the Breathwork class facilitator. This work is deeply experiential.
