About the Event

The Summer Solstice, also known as Litha, represents the peak of sunlight in the northern hemisphere. At this time, we honor the interconnectedness of both life and death, light and darkness, honor all the ways we are blooming, and tap into our inner strength with the help of the Sun. Like the caterpillar that transforms into a beautiful butterfly, we too are on an epic journey of transformation.

Be guided by Sara through a deep breathwork experience to tend to that which is flowering within you and release the outgrown stuff and what you don’t wish to carry into the second half of the year.

What is this event about?

Healing Breathwork is one of the most powerful self-healing techniques that anyone can practice.

Healing Breathwork is a technique that involves connecting the inhalation with the exhalation in a gentle, relaxed rhythm.

By connecting the breath, the body is flooded with fresh oxygen and prana ("life force") and you can tap into the natural healing system of the body.

You get the opportunity to release stored emotions from the past, detox your body on a deep level, and transform blockages into bliss and natural flow.

What does a Breathwork Circle look like?

You will be guided into a higher state of consciousness using Breathwork. Any trapped emotions or traumas will rise to the surface, to be expressed or cleared away from the body; leaving you feeling empowered, alive, and cleared from stored up emotional and mental patterns. Imagine, that a simple tool, such as a guided Breathwork can transform insecurity, feelings and thoughts of unworthiness, into security, and self-confidence within! This practice can help you to move beyond fear, contraction, shame, and spontaneously become joyous about your life!

Your Facilitator - Sara Tonini

Sara is a soul alchemist, an Earth steward, and a womb-wisdom keeper. She is the scientist and the shaman, the academic and the witch. The bridge between the structured logic and the fiery creativity. For many years, she lived in her mind - a wonderful place that allowed her to obtain a PhD in the Social Sciences and to become an academic researcher and professor. As her career was booming, she recognised the need to balance her life and started to embark on a journey of radical self-love through embodiment practices. She now shares her medicine through yoga, meditation and pranayama, conscious dance, cyclical living awareness, sex and intimacy coaching and conscious breathwork.

Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with epilepsy, detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases (including prior heart attack), mental disorders (manic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization, etc.), strokes, TIA´s, seizures or other brain/neurological conditions, a history of aneurysms in the immediate family, use of prescription blood thinners, hospitalized for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the past 10 years, osteoporosis or physical injuries that are not fully healed, acute somatic and viral diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD-II and COPD-III), chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation or terminal illness, individual intolerance of oxygen insufficiency, cancer and Low Impulse Control.

Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician and the Breathwork class facilitator.  This work is deeply experiential. It may involve intense and energetic emotional release. Breathwork is not advised for persons who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
